The role of Artisan High Speed Machine requires the following essential skills:

Job Title: Planning Engineer

Job Description
Kilombero Sugar Company Limited, the largest producer of sugar in Tanzania, is seeking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated and results-oriented individual for the post of Planning Engineer reporting to the Reliability Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, controlling and supervising the Planning Section at the Kilombero Factory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Overall responsibility of the Factory Planning Engineering department.
-Prepares maintenance schedules of all assets in respect of planned maintenance and to establish activity durations and sequence for specific crafts.
-Ensure Planning Department meets customer expectations as well as group requirements.
-Comply with group maintenance requirements by ensuring off crop, stop day plans and activities are effectively implemented.
-Drive and ensure compliance of Maintenance Metric.
-Assists in the development of Off Crop Labour requirement and resource levelling for various crafts.
-Manage subordinates as to achieve their specific objectives.
-Ensure all tasks in the section are performed according to Kilombero Quality, Safety, Health and Environment policies and procedures.
-Compile and control section budgets, and analyse budget variances as per company financial policy and guidelines.
