The Opportunity: African
Underground Mining Services (AUMS) is an international leader in
mechanised hard rock underground mining. We deliver a full suite of
underground mining services, from mine development to production at a
number of world-class sites in Tanzania, Mali, Ghana and Burkina Faso. We
are currently seeking experienced and motivated HV Electricians with
underground mining experience for a full time position for current
contracts at Geita Gold Mine, GeitaThese roles provide an opportunity to work for an Industry Leading Underground Mining Contractor while earning a competitive income and enjoying ongoing training and career progression prospects.

NEW TANZANIAN JOBS OPPORUNITIES (300+ POSTS)
Essential to this role:
· Australian or Tanzanian Recognised Electrical Trade Certificate.
· Minimum 7 years Underground Mining experience in hard rock mechanised mine.
· Extensive experience with Sandvik Development and Long hole Drill Rigs.
· HV Switching ticket.
· Planning and Installation of 11KV/1000v high voltage electrical systems for underground applications.
· Install and maintain mine communications systems. (Leeky feeder)
· Install and maintain mine primary and secondary ventilation systems.
· Maintain mine dewatering systems including Flygt and Stalker pump rebuilds.
· Current International or Tanzanian Drivers Licence.
· A strong Safety focus and ability to ensure a safe workplace through daily inspections and rectification of hazards.
· Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
· Familiarity with Pronto XI Maintenance Management Program.
